After customer had original one run over by a lorry. Spent the morning erecting this one. Spirit level says its perfect, but due to everything around I checked about 20 times. Bloody trees.

Rogues gallery/ unqualified person

Two fuse boards. One with red, blue and white spacers for the entire shop electrics. And grey box near top that was serving nothing. Both should have a main earth but only one did. The entire shop not earthed as the green and yellow earth cable only goes to box doing nothing. This was a chip shop with plenty of water and metal work surfaces, no earth on anything. Death on a plate served here.
All 4 of these need to be bolted together or your house has no earth whatsoever. The cable and bolt most definitely need to be bolted to the earth rod. This was pretty much how I found it. Damn dangerous and left by so called qualified sparky. You get what you pay for.
A lovely safe working practice here. Notice the slightly charred cables and the earth’s not connected, despite this going to metal light fitting. Shocking.
Got a call out after all their sockets went off. You can just see the three cables going in to junction box, under 5 inches of water. Rewires this one and put it screwed to joist, but could not locate all the rest. So had to rewire all the sockets.
Seems this is becoming a common problem in people’s homes. When were Electrics last checked?
